Maxx is 9 months old...well it was actually yesterday!
We have our 9 month checkup today and I can't wait to see how much he has grown in these last 3 months. He is getting so big. He has been super fussy in the evening lately so my attempt to get pictures didn't go so well. Here are a few.
He was more interested in the grass than he was taking pictures.
Lots of new things going on with Maxx this weekend.
We moved up to #4 diapers. Whoa!! Fat Baby!
We tried Stage 3 foods which have chunks in them. He gagged a little bit but he is getting used to it
Maxx's pincher grasp has gotten really good. He picks up his little yogart bites and puffs and actually gets them into his mouth. Now I do find random ones stuck to his face or his butt but that is ok.
And he started crawling on his hands and knees. He has been scooting all over the place for about 2 weeks but this weekend we got some belly off the floor crawling.
We also go for 9 month pics next Saturday. Can you believe that??? Nine months...where has the time gone!
Maxx and I had lunch with a good friend of mine, Kathy, on Friday. We always go to Casa Garcia for salads. YUM! Maxx was very well behaved. I think it was b/c I just kept feeding him treats and pieces of avacado. Here are two pics we took
And I think I finally realized who Maxx gets that random dimple from. Hmmm...never knew I had that.
Maxx is now always getting into something he shouldn't be. He has fallen and cracked his head on the hardwood floor so many times I have lost count.
Here he is in his room one day. He was supposed to be playing with his toys on his playmat. I turned around and he had pulled to standing on the box and was tugging on the handles on the filing cabinet.
And then he fell!
Gran Pat thinks he will be walking by 10 months old. Oy, help me now!!!!
He has learned how to army crawl and scoot himself all over the place. He was playing with his sit and play musical toy the other morning and ended up like this. Well since he is a fatty he got stuck and couldn't crawl out of it. So he proceeded to crawl with it.
And now all he wants to do is walk. He can pull up on everything in sight and is on the move. He walks all around the living room. I really need to get the child locks on everything this weekend!
